Welcome to Mowbray Heights Primary School

Mowbray Heights Primary School (est. in 1927) is a unique school due to the high levels of diversity amongst our students and families. We currently have over 520 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 attending our school, and many families accessing a range of Launching into Learning programs. Our reputation is outstanding due to our dedication to improving student learning outcomes, commitment to working in partnership with families and determination in ensuring an inclusive school community.

Our work is underpinned by the Department for Education, Children and Young People values of connection, courgae, growth, respect and responsiblity. Our culture is one of high expectations and positive relationships.

Quality teaching is reflected in excellent student learning outcomes. Our explicit improvement agenda is articulated in the School Improvement Plan which highlights Literacy, Numeracy and Well-being as key priorities. Our MHPS vision Aim High: aspire, learn, achieve is embedded in all aspects of our school improvement agenda.

The Arts, ICT, Health and Physical Education, and STEM (the integration of Science Technology Engineering and Maths) are given a strong focus and are highly valued by our school community.
